The total legal reserve to maintain for the banks should be similar to the percents on the visible bills of deposits, be these bills currents, of saving, of checkbooks of checks and deposits to requirement, of natural and juridical people, according to next specification:

A hundred percent of the legal reserve to apply mentioned in the previous numeral will be constituted by the following banks:

  • Banco de Crédito y Comercio (BANDEC).
  • Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA).
  • Banco Internacional de Comercio S.A. (BICSA).
  • Banco Nacional de Cuba (BPA)

It corresponds the superintendent of the Central Bank of Cuba to supervise the periodically execution of that settled down previously.
